ESPN announced on August 1, 2008 that Max Hall has been named to the top ten clutch players of 2008 list. He is expected to be one of the leading quarterback in the nation this year. As a part of this list he is among the likes of Pat White (West Virginia) and Tim Tebow (Florida). Both players were Heisman trophy candidates in 2007 and Tebow won the award.
